man I don't know what the hell I was doing I was in Astronomy and couldn't get a reference okay. I guess she's just mine now.



Original sketch, albeit with the pencil grime and notebook lines scrubbed off.



Leveled. Aaaand there's the pencil grime and notebook lines again. hey here's an idea never sketch in my notebook again ever. Never did manage to get the one line off of the teeth.



Colored. Took two hours, which is about twice the time the original sketch took, a full half of which was squidging in all that purple. Reaaaal sick of purple right now.





Half-assed attempt at shading, and quarter-assed attempt at background. I really don't know what to do with backgrounds. I'm not sure whether it looks better with the glow effect or without, since it looks kinda shitty either way...


Brutal criticism welcome. I've been off the wagon for twelve dang' years and I'm still running to catch up.

ETA: Oh yeah, her name's Ganymede, mostly because that's the planetoid I totally missed notes on to finish her, but also because it just kind of is. And I didn't forget to color in that scar on her leg, it's a second mouth. No, I don't know either.
