Re: Wall-E:

That. Was. PERFECT.

And no, I didn't cry. Shut up.

However:

Old Women: (have a casual chat about something unrelated in front of us for at least five minutes)
Myself: (leans forward) Excuse me, could you, um...please be quiet?
Old Woman Insufferable Old Cunt: Well, why don't YOU be quiet?
Myself: *genuinely shocked/a little hurt* ...
Megan: RAWR JUSTICE.

Later...

Insufferable Old Cunt: *derisively, pointing at a couple of little kids* Look! THEY'RE talking! They're talking!
Myself: ... *unprepared to be made fun of a la third-grade by a senior citizen in public; swearing in head*
Eve: *does something unbearably sexy*
Myself: *forgets troubles*

no I'm not gay. robot-gay. stfu. ignore the icon.

But yeah, most important thing: ABSOLUTELY. FUCKING. PERFECT. Go see NOW.

God, I'm so happy to see Disney on the mend. There really are no words for the warm fuzzies inside.

ETA: Watched it again, this time with Holly and Joe. Cried AGAIN. Dangit, Pixar.

I've also heard nothing but good. I might overcome my dislike for Disney and go see it.

You should, and try to soak up some optimism.

Why don't you like Disney?

As well you should be! See it! See it in the theatre and be gobsmacked in widescreen!

I'm probably going to go later next week, as I will need some kind of uplifting hope!

Um, you do know it's Pixar's darkest movie yet, right?

Hurr hi there :B

I've not seen it yet, since I'm not in a tearjerky mood, but I'm gonna. Eventually.

And seriously, guh, that is the worst movie ettiquette ever. If you want to have a chat, old ladies, how about you do it not in the middle of a theatre, huh?

eeeee eeeee it's neutral eeeeeeee hi

It's just the end, really, but yeah, it's heavier than any of the others. It's beautiful, though. As Stephen Notley pointed out, it's not so much a movie as 139,680 posters in sequential order. Totally worth seeing on the big screen.

Our movie theatre is cursed, I swear. I can't remember the last time we went to see a movie and the environment wasn't flat-out noxious. Last time we went there, there was a pair of teenagers talking so loudly that my sister and I went to the far end of the theatre from them, then STILL ended up going back and chewing them out because we couldn't hear a danged thing. The time before that, I had to tramp all the way back and close the theatre doors MYSELF because the staff neglected to bother and it was impossible to see. It's also been known to have bats fluttering around and duct tape on the screen proper. In contrast, we went to the theatre the next town over for the second showing and had the nicest, politest audience imaginable. CURSED.

...eeeeee.

Haha. Hi! :D

Yeah, it sounds awesome, but my vaugely elitist side keeps pushing me to scorn it because everyone else likes it. Which is ridiculous, of course.
I think I'm just worried it'll make me bawl and boy howdy am I not in the mood to cry.

...wow, that's awful. Aren't there any other theatres near you that you could go to? Ones less infused with suck?

Yeah, I know how it is. It's not a case of false inflation this time around, though, honestly. Troofax even.

We avoid it whenever we can, but we didn't know it was playing in Grayling and the other closest theatre showing it was, like...I think 45 minutes to an hour away. Stupid unspoiled countryside |(

Ushitora Icons has a couple of great WALL-E sets.

And no, no, no I didn't. I have no memory at all of downloading this, or of doing an mp3 search for something so random as "coffee beans". Someone sent me this, and when I remember who, they shall feel my wrath.
